KYKO is a multifaceted psychometric assessment instrument developed by Dr. Bernard Tan Ah Thau, a distinguished professional with a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology and a Ph.D. in Behavioural Science from the USA.
Since its inception in 2016, KYKO Personality Psychometric Instrument has garnered subscriptions and utilization in both public and private sectors within the local landscape. Expanding its reach internationally, KYKO has gained recognition in countries including India, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines and China.
About KYKO
This innovative tool encompasses a five-dimensional model of personality, drawing insights from psychodynamic, behavioural, humanistic, biological, evolutionary, cognitive, trait-based, and social-cultural perspectives.
KYKO is designed to describe, explain, and predict patterns of behaviour, offering solutions to problems and issues arising from human differences through the modification, control, and change of behaviour.
KYKO adopts a medical approach to addressing human problems. Similar to a doctor’s diagnostic process for identifying a disease, KYKO directs individuals to undergo relevant psychometric assessment to obtain information about their psychological health. This information serves as the basis for identifying and confirming issues before implementing targeted solutions.

KYKO, a comprehensive solution, comprises two essential components:
KYKO Personality Psychometric Instrument (KPI):
The diagnostic part of KYKO, the KPI, serves as the first part of the KYKO report. It provides valuable information for organizations to identify and address specific problems caused by human factors. With a detailed range of 150 to over 400 items, the KPI meticulously maps out behaviour patterns.
KYKO People Management Information System (KPMIS):
The second part of the KYKO report, KPMIS, serves as the solution-oriented component. It offers recommendations, guidance, and advice to help users unlock their potential. Additionally, it assists authorities in generating options and finding solutions to challenges arising from human differences.
